
Asian Tech Press (Dec 1) -- Chinese electric car maker Xpeng Inc. will launch three new electric vehicles in the first quarter of 2023, the company's CEO said.
Xpeng on Wednesday released its earnings results for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2022. The results showed that Xpeng achieved revenue of 6.82 billion yuan ($965 million) in the third quarter, up 19.3% year-on-year, and a net loss of 2.38 billion yuan ($337 million), up 49% year-on-year.
The electric vehicle startup expected fourth-quarter deliveries of 20,000 to 21,000 units.
He Xiaopeng, chief executive officer and chairman of Xpeng, said during the earnings conference call that the company will release three new vehicles one after another in the first quarter of next year, including the new XPeng P7, the SUV G7, and a large MPV on the H platform.
