Virgin Galactic delays first commercial space flight until Q2 2023
Aug.5,2022

Asian Tech Press (Aug 5) -- U.S. space tourism company Virgin Galactic has postponed its first commercial space flight to the second quarter of 2023.

Virgin Galactic said Thursday that the company has postponed the commercial space flight, originally scheduled for the first quarter of 2023, to the second quarter.

In May, Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson said the company had pushed back the launch to the first quarter of 2023 because of a supply chain crisis and labor shortages.

The space tourism company had previously delayed the commercial service, pushing it back to the fourth quarter of 2022.
