Tianqi Lithium explores possible pooperation with Chile Mining Ministry

Asian Tech Press (Nov 17) -- Chinese miner Tianqi Lithium Corp. (9696.HK) discussed possible cooperation with Chile's Ministry of Mining on Thursday.

Tianqi Lithium said its vice chairman Jiang Anqi had a friendly meeting with Chilean Mining Minister Aurora Williams on Thursday.

The two sides exchanged views on Chile's National Lithium Strategy, potential development opportunities in the lithium industry, ESG and sustainable development in the energy transition, etc., and explored possibilities for cooperation.

Tianqi Lithium said in a press release that the two sides hope to continue to strengthen communication and seek new opportunities for cooperation and development.

Founded in 1992, Tianqi Lithium is one of the world's largest lithium compound producer, whose major customers include the world's top battery manufacturers, battery material producers, multinational electronics companies and glass producers.
