Asian Tech Press (Dec 29) -- NASA is mulling using SpaceX's spacecraft to pick up ISS astronauts.
The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is considering replacing the Soyuz spacecraft with SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft to retrieve astronauts from the International Space Station (ISS).
Russia's Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft had a coolant leak while docking with the orbiting laboratory on Dec. 14, disrupting ISS's normal work. The spacecraft was due to return three astronauts to Earth early next year.
NASA spokesperson Sandra Jones said that if Russia cannot launch another Soyuz spacecraft, NASA is considering using SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft to pick up the astronauts, and has sent an inquiry to SpaceX.
