Asian Tech Press (Nov 21) -- Chinese telecom giant Huawei has offered connectivity to 90 million people in remote regions around the world.
Huawei has provided 90 million people in remote regions of nearly 80 countries around the world with the ability to connect to the digital society as of October 2023, the company said on Tuesday.
Notably, this is the first time Huawei has announced progress since it joined the International Telecommunication Union's (ITU) Partner2Connect (P2C) Digital Coalition last year.
Huawei said it will deepen its cooperation with ITU and other international organizations to continue to promote the integration of remote areas into the digital age.
