EV maker Faraday Future to debut its first production car

Asian Tech Press (Apr 13) -- California-based electric car startup Faraday Future (NASDAQ:FFIE) is set to unveil its first production car later this week.

Faraday Future announced Wednesday that the first production vehicle of its flagship FF 91 electric sedan, will officially roll off the production line at 6:00 p.m. local time on April 14.

The company also provided a countdown showing 2 days until the event.

The move shows that Faraday Future is finally about to see its first production car roll off the production line after a delay of about 9 years.

Currently, the factory where Faraday Future produces the FF 91 is located in California, next to two tech hubs, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles, and covers 1.1 million square feet.

And according to earlier information revealed by Faraday Future executives, the company will also build a factory in China to produce cars.
